MaxEye Technologies provides generation functions in LabVIEW for generating the standard complaint signals for various digital video broadcasting standards. This guide explains how to use the DAB-TDMB signal generation toolkit using the programming examples.

Description

The MAXEYE T-DMB/DAB Signal generation toolkit contains VIs that can be used for generating signals with National Instruments hardware or generate signals in simulation mode as per the T-DMB/DAB Standards ETSI EN 300401 v1.4.1, ETSI TS 102 427 v1.1.1. This toolkit has information about the Labview API VIs to help engineers for programming.

The DAB-TDMB Signal generation toolkit contains examples for performing the following

1. Creating the waveform based on the standard specific user input parameters and then downloads the waveform to NI VSG/NI VST.
2. Creating the waveform based on the standard specific user input parameters and then writes the waveform to the file.
3. Playing the waveform using NI VSG, NI VST and NI USRP.

Note: VI Package Manager 2014 or above is required to install the package, before installing the package run VI Package Manager as administrator

Minimum System Requirements:
This section lists the minimum system requirements for using this toolkit. Before installing the Digital Video Toolkit software, verify that your system meets the following requirements:

1. Windows 10 / Windows 8 / Windows 7 with all available critical updates and service packs
2. 4 GB of free hard drive space
3. 4GB of RAM
4. NI LabVIEW 2014(32 bit and 64 bit), NI LabVIEW 2015(32 bit and 64 bit), NI LabVIEW 2016(32 bit and 64 bit) Full Development System or Professional Development System
5. NI Third Party Licensing & Activation Toolkit

LabVIEW 2014 :

1. NI Modulation Toolkit 14.0 or later version.
2. NI RFSG 14.0 or later
3. NI USRP 15 or Later
4. NI PXIe-5644R/5645R/5646R Instrument Design Libraries 14.0 or later version(Require Only for MaxEye DAB_TDMB VST Play Waveform from File MaxEye DRM RFSG Generate Waveform (Real Time VST) Example)

Note : MaxEye DAB_TDMB VST Play Waveform from File.vi and MaxEye DAB_TDMB RFSG Generate Waveform (Real Time VST).vi example support only 32 bit LabVIEW.

Note : MaxEye DAB_TDMB VST Play Waveform from File.vi and MaxEye DAB_TDMB RFSG Generate Waveform (Real Time VST).vi example support only 32 bit LabVIEW.

- NI RFSG 16.0 or later version
- NI USRP 16.0 or later

- Note : MaxEye DAB_TDMB VST Play Waveform from File.vi and MaxEye DAB_TDMB RFSG Generate Waveform (Real Time VST).vi does not support LabVIEW 2016.
