Description

This library implements WebSockets Client and Server functionality for communicating between LabVIEW applications and between a LabVIEW Application and a WebSockets Client (e.g. web-browser) and Server (e.g. 3rd Party Services using WebSockets).

Note: A backwards compatibility layer is retained for legacy applications allowing upgrade with minimal application changes. It is strongly recommended to update applications to use the new library VIs.

- Added better support for Opcodes defined in RFC6455: Now supports reading/writing of PING/PONG frames and reading/writing of fragmented messages (opcode 0x0). Payload data will be returned for supported opcodes.

- Fixed an issue with incorrect EOL being used in InitiateClientHandshake.vi (better cross-platform support)
- Added support for sending additional headers in the client handshake / server response
- Added support for Sec-WebSocket-Protocol: The DoHandshake VI now has a 'supported protocols' input which allows (in order of preference) specification of supported protocols. If a supported protocol is found in the received header, it will be returned back to the client as per the WebSocket specification.

Note: The VI Package has changed name - please uninstall any previous versions of this package.
