EU Cyber Resilience Act (CRA) — First Deadline September 2026
If you sell LabVIEW-based software and systems in the EU, please be aware that new CRA regulations may require you to implement security vulnerability reporting starting September 11, 2026. The VIPM Team has prepared guides to help you understand how this applies to your software applications and published packages, since it's important you understand these regulatory requirements (click the Learn More link to read these guides). Thank you for your help in keeping security front-and-center within the LabVIEW community.

LabVIEW Statechart Module by NI - Toolkit for LabVIEW Download

The LabVIEW Statechart Module provides a programming model that you can use to design applications at a higher level than was previously possible. With the LabVIEW Statechart Module, you can develop statechart diagrams, define behaviors with LabVIEW dataflow programming, and deploy the statecharts to desktop PCs, real-time controllers, field-programmable gate arrays (FPGAs), and embedded targets.

Description

The LabVIEW Statechart Module provides a programming model that you can use to design applications at a higher level than was previously possible. With the LabVIEW Statechart Module, you can develop statechart diagrams, define behaviors with LabVIEW dataflow programming, and deploy the statecharts to desktop PCs, real-time controllers, field-programmable gate arrays (FPGAs), and embedded targets.

Statecharts expand the classic state diagram with the additional features of hierarchy, concurrency, and comprehensive actions.

LabVIEW statecharts are especially useful for programming event-response applications such as intricate user interfaces and advanced state machines used to implement dynamic system controllers, machine control logic, and digital communication protocols.
