EU Cyber Resilience Act (CRA) — First Deadline September 2026
If you sell LabVIEW-based software and systems in the EU, please be aware that new CRA regulations may require you to implement security vulnerability reporting starting September 11, 2026. The VIPM Team has prepared guides to help you understand how this applies to your software applications and published packages, since it's important you understand these regulatory requirements (click the Learn More link to read these guides). Thank you for your help in keeping security front-and-center within the LabVIEW community.

Details

The LabVIEW Open Source Project presents a native LabVIEW client and server with configurable connection and data serializer.
A demonstration of a quick server and client is presented. Then a deeper dive into some of the underlying architecture is presented, including serialization of MQTT payloads, connection abstraction layer and all the way down to the low-level reuse components for MQTT control packets.

The project is open source and found on Github:
* https://github.com/LabVIEW-Open-Source
* https://github.com/LabVIEW-Open-Source/MQTT-Client
* https://github.com/LabVIEW-Open-Source/LV-MQTT-Broker

The LabVIEW code can be installed and deployed in minutes via the vipm.io website or the VI Package Manager installation.
