Unstable Channel for VIPM

Thanks so much for this great tool which made me use LabVIEW in a totally different manner and promotes its community. Taking so many cool packages gives me the urge to give something back, so I often want to share tools that enable something new but are probably not stable enough for production use. Simply putting them on github seems not to address enough curious developers to test and give feedback, so I wonder if different channels or alpha / beta tags could be implemented in VIPM. This way, they would pop up in searches, if not filtered, and maybe one could be warned about the potentially unstable nature or limitations of the package.
That way, new stuff would be sooner available to people who want to do bleeding edge stuff or can make use of limited functionality and one would better know which tools to develop further.
