Hi

TLDR: I cant uninstall vipm packages because LabVIEW will not load, I cannot load LabVIEW with the packages installed.

My problem is that I wanted to move to labview 2020 64 bit from LabVIEW2020 32 bit, I installed LV 64bit and confirmed it working.
When it came to installing all the packages from the list of installs in VIPM from the 32 bit version, I highlighted them all and switched my target to 2020 64bit, so that it could mirror what I had on the 32bit labview.
Somewhere along the procedure the installer battled to get a connection to LV 64 bit and eventually failed with 3 packages having an issue.

My problem then became my LV 64bit would not load. I did a full uninstall of LV 64 and assumed this would uninstall the packages from VIPM.
When reinstalling LV64 I found the same packages from the vipm with the same issues were still there. And LV64 would crash 2 seconds into the splash screen (as before)

I cannot uninstall the packages manually because the LV64 bit does not load due to me messing up the installation of vipm packages.

What is the procedure to remove the packages manually (uninstall LV64 and delete the remaining folders in the c:\program files\NI..\Labview2020)?

Thanks very much
Regards
Barry

Jim Kring Hi Barry. Sorry to hear about the trouble with your LabVIEW installation. Thanks for letting us know about this, and I hope we can help. VIPM keeps an installation database at `C:\ProgramData\JKI\VIPM\databases` -- there is folder for each LabVIEW version and subfolders for each package. You'll see a "files-installed" text file that lists all of the files installed for that package.
